Celebrated annually in conjunction with Bowls Canada, the day is used to promote the sport of Lawn Bowling in the community. For a few years now we have chosen the theme Canada vs. the World. The event features national costumes, food and fun bowling.
This is our major Canada Day celebration. Club volunteers prepare a grand breakfast featuring pancakes and all the other stuff you could expect master chefs to prepare. A highly social mixed team event. Usually 4 short games and a fun event.
This is an opportunity to have a fun day dressed up in your preferred pirate costume. There will be pirate themed food, “grog” and some swag prizes. Of course there will be a mixed draw and plenty of time to parlay with your fellow looters and damsels in distress.
A mixed team social event, usually 2 games of triples. A Lighthouse trophy. Sidney picks up and delivers our Tsawwassen guests from/to the ferry.
